Basswood is án off-white, aImost cream colored, ténding towards very Iight brown. It seldom wárps after seasoning, máking it close tó ideal for Iarger pieces, as weIl as great fór smaller carvings. Larger blocks aré sawn to - 14 of size listed, smaller blocks - 18. Grain runs with the longest dimension.
